Jesus' name in the language He spoke, Aramaic, is Yeshua. This is the name his mother, Mary, called Him by. In this faith, we honor and live to bring glory to King Yeshua the Christ. We Recognize the Holy Bible, King James Version, as the Word of God. This revelation is the foundation of our faith. We firmly believe that Yeshua is a historical figure and is also the incarnation of God. We believe that He was Crucified, Buried and Resurrected on the third day, as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Yeshua observed Saturday as the Sabbath, as do we. We recognize that salvation leads to discipleship in Christ. We recognize that broken people need a community and an action plan to heal emotionally. We recognize Celebrate Recovery, a 12 step Christ centered program, as one of the most efficient ways to recover from past hurts and trauma. This program allows a person to take responsibility for their side of the street and leave the rest in God’s hands. We strive to work with all Christian denominations for the common good of serving our communities. However, we will not debate theological differences that divide us. Are you a Disciple of Christ? Yes. Wonderful, let us work together for the common good. We believe that a person is comprised of Spirit, Mind and Body. This means that a person should strive to be a Priest, Scholar, and a Warrior. As a Servant of the Most High God, we never know in what capacity we will be called to serve. We strive to be Priests, above all else, as we know the divine law is Love. As it is stated, Love never fails. We strive to be Scholars and seek Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding. We strive to be Warriors and train in all forms of martial arts, as we are the guardians of our families and community.
The Law of Harmony with Nature is our most important natural law to follow after the Law of Love. It can be said that harmony with nature is showing respect to the creation of God, and therefore love to God. We believe that in the beginning, The Garden of Eden was essentially a food forest. All sorts of fruits and vegetables growing organically to be harvested and eaten by Gods creation, mankind. One of the primary goals of this faith is to reproduce the food forests in as many communities as possible. We accomplish this by growing organic fruit trees from seed and planting them on the land of our neighbors free of charge. As this produces food for all, homes for animals, and a sustainable biodiversity to the environment. In addition, the honeybee population thrives. Trees are also the most efficient means of converting carbon dioxide in the environment into the oxygen we breath. This is the most efficient method of restoring the balance of the atmosphere. We research edible and medicinal plant species that grow with little human intervention in each climate environment. We then serve our communities by helping our neighbors cultivate those edible plants on their property. It is an honor to serve in this way.
Servanthood is the nature of all members of this faith. As servants of the Most High, we are diplomats of the Kingdom of Heaven. Our loyalty is to God and the Kingdom of Heaven. We are servants of all mankind. We speak Truth and say what we mean. We carefully consider for our members, our individual and community goals; spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. We seek personal progress not perfection.
We strive to be Priests. This is evident with Bible reading, prayer, meditation and as lead to, fasting. It is critical that a Priest understand, the Word of God. It is also beneficial to learn other world religions, as it will help us lead other peoples to the truth of the Gospel of Christ. Our ultimate moral compass is illustrated in the following Holy Scripture:
BIBLE VERSE: MARK 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
We strive to be Scholars. Searching for knowledge is a lifelong pursuit. Daily reading of academic disciplines sharpens the mind. Strategic thinking is also important skill, we seek to develop. It is important for us to know the way of all professions. It will help us in the work arena to talk to people of different skill sets. We believe, the evidence of an independent thinker is the ability to consider and argument, without necessarily accepting it as truth. We strive to listen to others with the objective to understand and not to respond immediately. We consider our words carefully before speaking. Once a word is said it can be forgiven, however it can never be taken back.
BIBLE VERSE: PROVERBS 16:16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
We strive to be Warriors. We are the Defender of Women, Children, Elderly and the Weak. A careful observation of the Word of God shows there are many strong men, Warriors, described in the Word. As Warriors, we study strategy and the Art of War. With the understanding that the greatest General wins the war without the need for battle. Evil thrives in a world where good men do nothing.
BIBLE VERSE: PSALM 144:1 Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight
Discipleship Church Homes are for at risk men, homeless, alcoholics, etc. The purpose of these homes is to assist young disciples early in their service to the Lord. The discipleship home is democratically operated. Members elect a president, secretary and treasurer to operate the business of the home. The individual and corporate growth of the Church Discipleship Homes are 3-fold. There is an elected Priest, Scholar and Warrior leader. The Priest is responsible for the spiritual health of the home. They will lead prayer and related spiritual lessons. The Scholar is responsible for encouraging the members to acquire new knowledge and wisdom and skill sets. The Warrior is responsible for setting physical fitness goals and teaching martial arts. The leaders work together to ensure that every member of the Discipleship Home is achieving growth in a structured manner. The ultimate aim is for at risk men to achieve total independence and go on to live a life serving the Lord.
